현대차 이제는 아우디 배끼는거냐?

바로 이곳에서도 내비게이션 안내가 되는 것이었죠.
AV 내비게이션 화면에서만 길안내 정보가 나오는 것이 아니라 이 계기판 안에서도 주요 길안내를 표현하고 있습니다. 주변 지도와 같은 2차적인 정보는 빼고, 정말 중요한 주행 안내만 컴팩트하게 표현하고 있죠.

컴팩트한 표현이지만 실제로 사용해보면 저는 오히려 본 내비게이션 화면보다 이곳에서 표현되는 정보가 더 명확하고 좋더군요. 그만큼 심플하면서 핵심만을 표현하고 있습니다. 880미터 가서 지하도로로 진입하라고 안내하고 있군요

이곳에서 안내되는 수준은 생각보다 상당했습니다. 단순히 화살표나 주요 진입로 및 방향 정도만 나타내주는게 아니라, 거의 미니 내비게이션 수준입니다.

가락지하차도라는 것을 표현하면서 저정도 그래픽으로 표현을 해주고 있죠. 저 분기점까지 남은 거리는 자동차 진행에 따라 좌측 막대그래프로 표현도 해줍니다.

거리의 모양이나 각도도 실제 지형에 따라 꽤 흡사하게 표현하는 것이, 상당히 많은 경우의 수에 대해 적절한 그래픽을 가지고 있는듯 보였습니다.

저정도 인포메이션을 이곳에서 주고 있으니, 실제로 목적지를 설정해서 내비게이션 운행을 하는 경우, 센타페시아에 있는 내비게이션 화면은 거의 안봐도 충분할 정도였네요

이정도의 계기판이라면 굳이 HUD 가 필요할까 라는 생각도 드네요.

그리고 이처럼 계기판을 통한 내비게이션을 경험해보니 실제로 보다 안정적인 운행을 할수 있습니다. 전방 시야를 안뺏기면서 길안내를 다 확인할 수 있었으니까요

그 외에도 상당히 많은 정보를 이곳에서 제공합니다. 트립컴퓨터가 해주는 역할은 기본이구요

스마트키를 잠시 차밖에 두고 타면 이렇게 안내도 해주는군요. 실제 스마트키 모양과 함께 ^^

블루투스로 아이폰을 연결하면 또 이렇게 표시해줍니다.
다만 이렇게 블루투스로 연결해서 음악을 들으면 그 곡정보는 표시가 안되네요. (AV쪽 화면에서도 역시 곡정보 표시는 안됩니다) 이 부분은 좀 아쉽네요

이런 다양한 디스플레이에 대한 선택은 그때그때 스티어링 휠에 있는 디스플레이 스위치로 바꿀 수 있습니다. 이 변경 역시 운행에 방해가 안되도록 운전대에 그 스위치를 둔 것은 하나의 배려겠죠

이렇게 놓고 보면 그랜저HG 는 <u>근사한 디스플레이를 두군데 가지고 있는 셈</u>입니다. 운전자 시선 바로 아래 (계기판 가운데) 하나, 센타페시아에 하나...

센타페시아에 있는 화면에만 의존하게 만들면 좀 위험할수도 있는 많은 정보를, 그 핵심만 골라서 계기판에서 보여주는 이번 그랜저HG 의 시도는 상당히 높이 살만 했습니다. 그것도 아주 다양하게 보여주고 있구요

운전자가 고개를 이리저리 돌리면서 정보를 확인하지 않아도, 내비게이션 안내까지 충분히 해주는 이 그랜저HG의 계기판은 분명 자동차 계기판의 가치를 좀더 높였다고 봐도 될 정도였습니다.

나중에는 이런 스마트폰이 자동차에 탈착식으로 부착되는 시대가 올까요?
아니면 그자리는 자동차 회사에서 만든 태블릿이 차지하게 될까요?

이번에 현대자동차와 삼성전자가 이런 스마트 카 사업을 위해 전략적 제휴를 맺었던데, 부디 사용자를 위한 멋진 작품 하나 만들어줬으면 합니다. 개인적으로는 이런 스마트폰이 계기판 가운데 자리에 착탈식으로 들어가면서, 내비게이션을 포함한 모든 정보를 이곳을 통해 보다 안전하게 다 보여주고, 저절로 거기서 휴대폰 충전도 되고 핸즈프리 통화도 되는 그런 그림이 아주 이상적입니다.

그러려면 장착슬롯과 휴대폰도 어느정도 규격화되어야 할텐데요. 그렇게 따지면 아이폰이 제일 유리하려나요? ^^

암튼 이번에 시승한 그랜저HG. 여러가지로 마음에 드는 구석이 많았지만, 특히 그랜저HG 의 실내에서 가장 마음에 들었고 또 하나의 진보를 보여줬다고 의미를 부여하고 싶은 부분은 이 계기판 정보 부분이었습니다.

앞으로 어떤 식으로 또 진화하게 될지 아주 흥미로운 부분입니다.
